Where We Play
Two of the Algarve's most iconic courses, united by a shared commitment to excellence — and by Kress robots keeping their fairways pristine.
Opened in 1969 and designed by Frank Pennink, the Old Course is Portugal's most storied layout. Set among 700-year-old umbrella pines, it has hosted decades of elite professional golf. It is also home to three Kress robotic mowers, already operating on its fairways today.
One of Europe's finest resort destinations and a global benchmark in course management. During your morning visit, you will meet Course Superintendent Scot McLean and witness Kress autonomous mowers in operation — a behind-the-scenes experience rarely offered to outside guests.
